The Name. The Flame.

After successfully leading the Liège-based restaurant La Fontaine de Jade for a decade, Chef Chen Yan (焱) is turning a historic page. With a name meaning "three fires," he embodies the vital energy of the wok more than ever. Here, feeling liberated and inspired, he transforms his technical mastery into pure emotion, marking the beginning of a new era in gastronomy.

The Spirit, The Feast.

YAN also echoes the Chinese character 宴 (The Feast). Inspired by the refined aesthetics of the Song Dynasty, we view dining not merely as a necessity, but as a ritual. Far from opulence, luxury here lies in the calm, the light, and the elegance of minimalism. It is an invitation to slow down and celebrate the beauty of the present moment.

The Art of Meeting.

Beyond the plate, it is the soul of our home. Under the watchful eye of Madame Jin, our hospitality is sincere and unpretentious. With her WSET Level 3 certification, she has curated a dynamic wine cellar where hidden gems from small-scale winemakers sit alongside Grand Crus. Far from being showy, her selection has only one goal: to find the perfect pairing that will enhance your moment.
